Sonic Distribution is the UK distributor for Apogee, sE Electronics, sE Rupert Neve, sE Munro, Waves and Rupert Neve Designs. On Wednesday 2nd November, Sonic will be hosting an open day at their Andy Munro designed studio in Hertfordshire. Products that will be covered are the Apogee Symphony I/O, the sE Munro Egg Monitoring System, the sE Rupert Neve RN17 Stereo Pair and the Rupert Neve Portico II and Master Buss Processor. Patrick Greppi from Apogee will be hosting Symphony I/O sessions at 11am, 2pm and 4pm. Patrick will be joined by myself to talk about Pro Tools 10 and Pro Tools HDX integration with Apogee technologies.
The event is also an opportunity to audition the sE Munro Egg Monitoring System against Focal, Adam, Dynaudio, Genelec and PMC in a studio environment. Comparison sessions will be running from 12pm-2pm, 3pm-4pm and 5pm onwards. Sonic recommend you bring CDs you know intimately and be prepared to hear things you may not have heard before.
This event is FREE, food and beverages will be provided and if travelling by train, Sonic Distribution will pick you up from Hitchin station. Hitchin is only 30 minutes from King’s Cross. If travelling by car, Sonic Distribution are 5 miles from the A1(M) (Junction 8) and parking is available. Sonic Distribution will gladly reimburse return train fares or fuel costs, if required.
